We continue to follow in Jesus' footsteps down the path into the Kidron Valley.

Then Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to them, "Sit here while I go over there and pray." He ... began to be sorrowful and troubled. Then he said to them, "My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me." (Matt. 26:36-38)

Soon we arrive at the Garden of Gethsemane, near the bottom of the Mount of Olives. The olive trees here have root systems that are about 2,000 years old.
